I was told for many years that I should not sit with my leg underneath me every day at work. I would often forget and do it anyway. This is how I found myself in the office of a Santa Barbara chiropractor several times over the past month. I did try going to a doctor a couple of times first, but all he did was tell me that there is nothing he could do for me outside of trying to control the pain or go through scary surgery. Neither of those things was what I was looking for, and it was disappointing. I wanted to get to the root of the problem.
I have had a bad habit of tucking one of my legs underneath me for a long time. I had many people tell me that I should not do that. I am not even sure when it started. Continue reading
